Kokopo Bursts into Colour for a Cause: Over 600 Join IP Charity Colour Run 2025
ABLE KOKOPO TEAM JOINS RUN FOR A CAUSE.
The much-anticipated IP Charity Colour Run 2025, generously presented by Islands Petroleum, saw over 600 participants turn the Takubar Sports Ground into a sea of colour and camaraderie on Sunday, June 20, 2025.
Under the unifying theme “We Are One,” the Kokopo leg of the nationwide event brought together families, corporate teams, schools, and individuals for a morning of fun, fitness, and philanthropy. Participants ran, walked, and danced their way through colour stations, where they were showered in eco-friendly powdered hues, creating a joyful spectacle that lit up the town.
The event wasn’t just about colour—it was about community. Proceeds from the Kokopo run will go directly to St. Mary’s Hospital, Vunapope and Nonga General Hospital, supporting essential health services in the region.
