The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST), through the Improved Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Employment Project (iTVET4E), has officially awarded a major contract to Able Home and Office. This milestone marks a significant step forward in enhancing the quality of education and training infrastructure across Papua New Guinea.

As part of the iTVET4E initiative, the contract encompasses the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of essential ICT equipment for selected TVET institutions across the country. Able Home and Office, a leading supplier of technology and office solutions in PNG, was selected based on its proven track record in delivering high-quality products and professional technical services.
The iTVET4E project, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aims to strengthen the country’s technical and vocational education system by upgrading institutional capacity, modernizing learning environments, and aligning training outcomes with labor market demands. This partnership with Able Home and Office is a testament to the government’s commitment to improving education delivery through strategic public-private collaboration.

“Able Home and Office is honoured to support DHERST in this transformative project,” “This award affirms our dedication to empowering education through reliable and future-ready technology.”
The successful implementation of this contract is expected to directly benefit students and educators by providing access to modern learning tools, fostering digital literacy, and promoting skills development aligned with national employment goals.

Able Home and Office looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the success of the iTVET4E Project and, more broadly, to the advancement of technical and vocational education in Papua New Guinea.
