This Christmas season, ABLE Alotau had the privilege of bringing holiday cheer to children in Milne Bay with a heartfelt gift-giving event at the Children’s Ward of the Milne Bay Provincial Hospital. On December 17, 2024, around 40 children were each given a special gift—something they could not only enjoy but also share with their families, fostering a sense of community and togetherness during the festive season.
The event was a part of ABLE Alotau’s annual tradition of spreading joy and making a positive impact on the lives of local families. It is more than just about giving gifts—it’s about bringing smiles to faces, creating memories, and offering a moment of happiness amidst challenging circumstances.
“Christmas is a time for giving, and as a community, we strive to share whatever we can to brighten the lives of those who need it most,” said a representative from ABLE Alotau.
