Cabling infrastructure may not be a priority to some companies but a Toshiba client of ours looks at it differently- they want a clean, neat looking and a structured cabling system so they have tapped our service team to propose for cabling works.
The ongoing renovation works allowed us to peek in to their laid out cables that run from 1st floor, where the server and switches are placed all the way to the ground floor, where their offices are located. Our team assessed the requirements with the help of their friendly managers, who had taken a picture with us.
We tried to develop a simple infrastructure where the client doesn’t need an IT staff to maintain the network, wirings can easily be traced and any additional workstation has a standby I/O patch port that they can connect to avoiding extra job in drilling holes from the ceiling to run an additional network cable.
A big thanks to PNG Taiheiyo Cement Ltd for the opportunity to develop and propose a cabling infrastructure for your office.
