Just a couple of notes from me! 🙂
1) 7zip format, is not proprietary. It’s open source and well documented.
2) 7zip has native support for many systems. Not only for Windows and Linux, but even for DOS and other older systems.
3) If someone has to stick with the preinstalled software at Windows, he has to surfing around with IE! 🙂
