The ABLE Home & Office (AHO) had the privilege of attending a Stakeholder Consultation Meeting hosted by Milne Bay Estates (NBPOL), on October 6, 2025. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders including business houses, contractors, government agencies, landowners, and growers — all with a shared interest in better understanding the operations and impact of Milne Bay Estates.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome from the HR Manager Mr. Eric Mesak, who provided a brief yet informative introduction on the history and background of the company. This set the tone for a day filled with transparency, collaboration, and meaningful engagement.

One of the key highlights of the event was the series of presentations delivered by department managers. Each manager took the time to explain the specific roles and functions of their departments, offering participants a comprehensive insight into the inner workings of the estate’s operations. From agricultural practices to logistical coordination and sustainability measures, the session gave attendees a clear understanding of how the company operates on a daily basis.

An open forum followed the presentations, giving stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions and voice their concerns. Notable topics included discussions on the environmental impacts of palm oil production and how local communities in Milne Bay could benefit economically and socially from the company’s continued presence and growth in the region.

The consultation was not only informative but also successful in promoting transparency and mutual understanding between Milne Bay Estates and its stakeholders. It created an inclusive space for collaboration and addressed critical community-related concerns in a respectful and constructive manner.

For ABLE Home & Office it was a privilege to be part of this important dialogue. We value the opportunity to engage with key players in the industry and support initiatives that foster sustainable development, corporate responsibility, and community empowerment in Milne Bay.
We extend our appreciation to Milne Bay Estates (NBPOL) for organizing such a valuable event, and we look forward to continued partnerships in the future.
