The annual State of Origin series always brings out the passion, rivalry, and spirit of competition across Australia — and here at ABLE Home&Office, it’s no different!
This year’s decider, played on Wednesday 9 July 2025, at Accor Stadium, saw emotions run high as staff proudly wore their team colours, backing their beloved Blues (NSW) or Maroons (QLD) in one of the fiercest rivalries in Australian sport.
The Maroons came out firing, dominating the first half with an incredible 20-0 lead. It was a display of grit, discipline, and raw Queensland pride. The Blues tried to claw their way back in the second half, but the Maroons’ momentum was too strong, sealing the match 24-12 and reclaiming the Origin shield in emphatic fashion.
State of Origin is more than just a game — it’s a yearly three-match battle between the best of New South Wales and Queensland, a true showdown between two proud Rugby League heartlands. With every game, the rivalry grows deeper, and the stories richer.
Among AHO staff, the spirit was alive and well. Whether you were Team Blue or Team Maroon, the excitement, banter, and support showed just how deeply the series runs through Aussie culture.
To the Maroons fans — congratulations on a stellar, faultless performance and bringing the shield back north. And to the Blues faithful — better luck next year. The fire will burn again in 2026!
