Able Home and Office sponsored Directorate of Transport and Movement on CDF CUP Golf Challenge last July 19,2023 held in Lae and it was Lae Golf Club that hosted the Cup Challenge.
It’s a one-day sports event and was participated by the Logistic Branch of two teams consisting of 10x players each team.
The event featured a friendly tournament format that allowed players to enjoy the game at their own pace while fostering a spirit of camaraderie. Golfers formed teams, forging new friendships and strengthening old ones as they navigated through challenging bunkers and sloping greens.
As the last putt dropped, and the scores were tallied, the golfers gathered for a delightful luncheon. Amidst the clinking of glasses, participants shared stories of their best shots, near misses, and unforgettable moments throughout the event.
A key highlight of the day was recognizing exceptional performances. The top-performing players in various categories received trophies, certificates, and bragging rights for their impressive achievements. But, more than just the accolades, it was the smiles and camaraderie that made everyone feel like a winner.
The golf event was more than just a day on the links; it was a celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and the joy of the game, which AHO fosters.
