National First Aid Training

NATIONAL FIRST AID TRAINING

Deborah Gani was privilege to be send by Able Home & Office Madang  to attend the First Aid Training which commence on 26th -27th of July 2021 at the YWCA Madang  conference room.

First Aid training is very useful for us as we going to apply the skills that we learned, in our working environment and the community as well.

Emergency care is the first help we going to give to a sick or injured person before the arrival of the medical assistance.

The basics that we learned in this training are,

General Medical Conditions:

HEART ATTACK, STROKE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK, FAINTING, CONVULSION, SEIZURE/FITTING, DIABETES, CHOCKING, SHOCK, SUFFOCATION, DROWING, STRANGULATION & HANGING, ALERGIC REACTION.

 Special types of Bleeding Management:

EAR, EYE, NOSE, GUM, LUNG, OPEN STOMACH, GUN SHOT, EMBEDDED OBJECTS, AMPUTATION, HEAD, HAND, LEG, SHOULDER AND HIP FRACTURE.

The very important part of the training is Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the technique applied to the Adult is different from a Child.

This lead us to the end of First Aid Training.

From what I learned, I have to give it back to my Company. So I trained my co staff for two days, the simple Basics of First Aid, especially CPR.
