Far away from home yet the group of Filipinos in Lae never fails to celebrate the Philippine Independence Day. This year, the event was held at Lae Golf Club where guests and members enjoy Filipino cuisine and presentations showcasing Filipino native dances, prepared by the organizers.
ABLE HOME and OFFICE staff joined the event and contributed prizes for the raffles draws. Almost every year we’ve been supporting the activities of the association in raising funds for charity works.
One of the special guests was the current Minister of Plans and Physical Planning, the Honorable John Rosso, who also was the speaker during the event.
Kudos to those who put the event together and thumbs up to those who participated in the traditional dance competition. It surely was a wonderful celebration.
