Cribs foundation was started in 1974 by American missionary wives. In 1979 CRIBS was incorporated as a non profit, non government organization (NGO).
Mission
CRIBS is committed to the care and development, healing and recovery of children in need of special protection.
Vision
To provide a safe and loving home environment for each child, free from any form of violence and abuse.
Able’s commitment
The directors of Able have an adopted daughter from the Philippines so the work of CRIBS is close to their heart. As a mark of their respect for the great work that CRIBS does the directors Andrew, Marijun and their daughter Allysha made the trip to Antipolo, Philippines to donate money on behalf of Able home and office.
New beginnings program
Their new beginnings program addresses the healing of sexuality abused female minors, aged 7 – 17 years old. It’s services include home life, formal education, individual and group counseling and after care services. New beginnings provides protective custody and healing intervention programs that work toward the reintegration of children with their families.
Josephine Ordaniel provided a tour of the facility and allowed them to play with the toddlers that, after the age of three, will be adopted mostly to international families.
